Melanie Stidolph works with video, film, and photography. She studied at University of Leeds & University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Her work is influenced by experiences of infertility & childlessness and she is drawn to rock pools & mis-using photographic equipment. Commissions from The Photographers' Gallery & Tate, Learning. Solo exhibitions include Northern Gallery of Contemporary Art & Kamloops Art Gallery, Canada. Group shows in London, Madrid, Vancouver, New York. Curated 'Except The Mirror' for Format Festival, Derby. Current photo series 'Last Summer' featured in new European printed journal, NU & online with Photomonitor.
